Starting treatment

Upon commencing treatment at Impress, patients can anticipate receiving the Impress kit at their doorstep within a few weeks. This comprehensive kit encompasses all the necessary components for a successful treatment, along with instructions on downloading and initiating the app's usage.

1. Download the Impress App to your mobile phone

The Impress kit includes a convenient QR code that enables patients to easily download the Impress app from the App Store, Google Play, or the App Gallery. Once the app is successfully downloaded onto your phone, simply log in, confirm the receipt of the Impress kit, and schedule an appointment at the clinic.

Following your initial treatment visit, where we'll prepare your smile for the aligners, you can schedule a call with our onboarding team through the app. They will be available to address any inquiries you may have and guide you through the proper procedure for conducting oral scans accurately.

2. Exploring the main menu

Within the Impress App's main menu, you'll discover essential information pertaining to the status of your treatment:

• Progress Line: This feature illustrates the aligners you have already worn, highlights when attachments will be placed, and indicates when interproximal reduction (IPR) might be required.
• Scans: Access all your scans and track the progress of your treatment.

4. Taking check-in photos

Using the app, you can capture weekly check-in photos, enabling our experts to evaluate the advancement of your treatment and determine when aligner changes are necessary. Our team of doctors diligently examine the oral scans uploaded to the app, overseeing your treatment progress and ensuring treatment is on track.

5. Changing aligners

After the medical team thoroughly reviews the uploaded check-in photos on the Impress App and confirms that the treatment is progressing according to plan, the patient will receive a notification in the main menu. This notification will indicate the next aligner in the treatment sequence, and the patient must confirm the aligner change.

In certain instances, after assessing the scans, the medical team may determine that the current aligners need to be worn for an extended period if the anticipated tooth movement hasn't been achieved. In such cases, the patient will be required to take new scans after a few days, which our orthodontists will evaluate before providing further instructions for the treatment.

If necessary, the medical team can reach out to the patient and arrange an in-person appointment at the nearest Impress clinic to personally examine the case and make any necessary adjustments if changes are identified.

6. View your smile evolution

Throughout the treatment, patients can access and review all the uploaded scans, observing the gradual changes in the teeth's position. This enables them to compare the initial smile with each stage of the treatment, witnessing the progress made over time.

7. Chat with your doctor, 7 days a week

Patients have the convenience of directly contacting our team of doctors whenever they require assistance. Whether you have inquiries or encounter any issues with your treatment, you can reach out to our experts without the need to visit our clinics initially. Our dedicated team is available seven days a week and will promptly respond to address any concerns or provide the necessary guidance you may require.

Completing treatment

Upon completion of the treatment, following all the required aligner changes, the patient will receive a notification to schedule their final appointment at the clinic. During this visit, any attachments that were worn will be removed, and final adjustments will be made to ensure a perfectly healthy and aligned smile. Post-treatment
